JOB DESCRIPTION
Our client is a leading engineering consultancy who specialize in Fire
Engineering Designs & architectural and engineering projects to the
Commercial, Industrial, Pharma/Biotech and Educational Sectors.
As the Associate Director, you will Provide visionary leadership to
the fire engineering department, directing its course and ensuring the
delivery of world-class fire engineering
solutions.
Engage in and oversee the conceptualization, development, and
execution of complex fire engineering projects.
Foster and maintain relationships with high-value clients,
understanding their needs, and ensuring their expectations are met or
exceeded.
Lead business development initiatives, identifying growth
opportunities and guiding the team toward them.
Serve as the primary contact for significant regulatory authorities,
ensuring compliance and fostering beneficial relationships.
Guide the department *;s research and
development initiatives, staying abreast of industry trends and
innovations.
Mentor, coach, and shape the future fire engineering talents within
the organization.
Collaborate with other department heads and senior management to

REQUIREMENTS
A bachelor *;s degree in Fire Engineering,
Fire Safety, Mechanical, Structural Engineering, or a related field. A
master *;s degree is advantageous but not a
prerequisite.
A solid foundation of * years in fire
engineering, with demonstrable expertise in executing and overseeing
intricate projects.
Comprehensive understanding of both Irish and global fire safety
regulations, codes, and practices.
Achieved Chartered Engineer status.
Mastery over fire engineering software and contemporary tools, with a
focus on advanced analytical techniques.
Demonstrable experience in high-level leadership roles, strategic
planning, and decision-making.
Established track record in business development and fostering client
relationships.
Proficient in navigating complex regulatory landscapes, including
nuanced differences in fire safety codes between Ireland, the UK, and
international standards like NFPA and UL.
Acumen in Fire Safety Management with an emphasis on strategic
implementation.
Must have legal authorization to work in Ireland.
